Happy Xmas, New Year and all that Bollox!

Well that was a pretty quiet, expensive and yet enjoyable Xmas! Visted a couple of local boozers on Xmas eve (and there's pretty much not many left around these parts) and partook of a few sherberts but didn't go too mad and was back in bed before midnight.

I took the opportunity to cook Xmas dinner this year and it all went rather well, if somewhat delayed. A few bottles of Hoegaarden were then consumed on Xmas day and it was all pretty civilised. Unfortunately I've been like a human dustbin over the last few days and I'm starting to get that 'Big Daddy' kind of physique.

The racing kicked back into action on Boxing Day and it's always a bit of a nightmare with races clashing and non-existant liquidity in some of the wankier meetings. Unfortunately I then picked up the lurgi so I'm hoping to shift that before 31/12 as we're supposed to be off to the coast for a monster beer session.

+£52.71. Now although my daily total was nothing to write home about I did feel a lot more aggressive today so I felt relatively happy and if I continue in the same way then the increase in profits should materialise.

+£113.48 I started off very poorly today but then had a nice win in a race at Kempton which put me back in profit. The only downside was the loss in the last race of the day which is always a bit of a bummer.

+£564.68. I think that I might change the way in which I do my blog next year and maybe just do weekly updates on my P&L? I'll also try and make it more lighthearted and try not to moan so much!

After my nice win I was giving it 'whos the fucking daddy' (appropriately see above) at the top of my voice and later in the day my missus said 'I could hear you screaming from upstairs ..... so did you have nice win' .... doh!

Suffering a bit from a cold today and I'm hoping that I can shift it over the next couple of days in time for our coastal New Year celebrations.

All I need to do now is search for one of those websites that has erotic audio recordings and find one that has a script along the lines of 'give it to me big boy, harder, faster, deeper, etc'. From now on it's going to be 'just going for an early night tonight darling' as I wander off and lock myself in my bedroom with my Ipod, plastic minge, a copy of Razzle ...

... and copious amounts of lube!!

Alright viewers, I'm ready for my close-up ...

Yep it's time for a few more videos! I got myself a new webcam and I've had some emails recently asking me to be a bit more specific about how I trade so I thought that I'd do my daily vid again.

I've mentioned previously that I've become a lazy bum over the last few weeks, so something has to change! I've been missing gym sessions, eating all the wrong stuff and haven't even been bothered to keep my horse notes up to date, which is a very poor effort.

So once again I need to get my ass into gear and sort my life out! Right, where do I start:

horse notes: now this study proved invaluable during the summer as I had one or two nice wins which came as a direct result of my notes. So each morning I'll be spending some time watching the replays and getting my notes back up-to-date.

gym & diet: it's back to a regular gym routine and decent diet. I want to be in half decent shape before we get to the start of 2015 so that I have a decent chance of being super ripped for next summer.

increased stakes & aggression: I've pretty much fallen back to lower stakes instead of kicking-on. Now that's just fucking stupid and I need to grow some balls and start winning some decent cash (fuck I remember posting the exact same goal fucking ages ago).

So happy Xmas and all that bollox and lets's go .....

+£82.43. Would have been a better day if I hadn't lost the £60+ in the 3 runner race at Kempton, but in hindsight there wasn't much that I could do about it ...

It's 10:39 so I should just have about enough time to watch the replays of yesterday's racing and update my notes. Oh deep joy!

+£66.23. I pretty much had only one trade of note today, but with only three really poor meetings on ATR any kind of profit was a bonus ...

+£269.74. A good result today and probably no co-incidence that it was three meetings on RUK today! If the wankers at ATR could improve the picture speed then we might all have a chance but they obviously have some hidden agenda as to why they want to keep the ludicrous delay?

+£107.44. A pretty steady day today and scraped into three figures. More RUK goodness and generally I can stomach the ATR/BF Live pics from any of the Irish courses as the markets are slightly different ... it's just that it's practically impossible to get anything from the GB based tracks that are on ATR.

+£88.23. I did kind of OK during the day but managed fuck-all, unsurprisingly, trying to play Wolverhampton and Dundalk in the evening.

+£45.70. A day of ups and downs but just managed to scrape into a profit through some late wins at Wolverhampton of all places!!

-£146.04. One bad bet and one bad trade destroyed the day, which was otherwise very un-inspiring!

-£87.69 Oh fucking deep joy! Couldn't do a thing right today and following yesterday's poor effort that kinda made me FUCKING MAD!!

+£41.83. Today's mission was to get any sort of winning score on the board. The racing was a fucking useless bag of shite and all on ATR so that was easier said than done. To be quite honest I felt quite happy with the result as another losing day would have seeen me jumping off a very high bridge!

-£71.95. Oh dear! These losing days are becoming a habit! It's funny how a few losing trades/bets can affect your confidence. It seemed that everything that I touched turned to shite. Now in hindsight the fact is that yes I did have a bit of bad luck once or twice but all of the other losing trades were probably a result of bad decisions.

The racing has been poor this week and most of the coverage has been on ATR and this has meant that I've maybe tried to force opportunities in order to try and win some cash. It's obvious that this type of trading erodes any edge that you may normally have and therefore puts you in much riskier positions.

So the simple answer is to re-group and look to trade effectively as opposed to trying to force the issue. When you have bad days then it's really important to identify where you went wrong as this helps you to become a much better trader and therefore helps turn that negative feeling into a positive one.

+£52.58. A nice steady day where I played cautiously and importantly only experienced 2 minor losses so I'll settle for that after my poor results this week ...

+£152.77. The ironic thing about today's win was that I was playing off much smaller stakes than normal following my poor efforts earlier in the week. However, it's still satisying to get back into 3 figure territory, especially when it's a win as opposed to a loss!

+£87.43. I kept my stakes low again today and avoided any big losses. So although it wasn't a brilliant total for a Saturday once again it was OK as I was just looking to get another green day under my belt ...

+£13.35. Gloomy Sunday indeed!

Felt like slitting my wrists while listening to a bit of Sinead O Connor ....

+£59.97. There's no better way than to follow a boring Sunday with an exciting Monday with racing from Ffos, Plumpton and Wolves! I almost cum im my pants!! Thank fuck for the £70 win halfway through the day!

... and some more Sinead O'Connor with a classic Pink Floyd track ..... enjoy ...

+£33.92. Just never got going today ...

+£142.40. Getting back into 3 figure profit territory is always nice even though most of it came from an early race at Newbury.

+£39.55. I was heading for another losing day today until I had a late win at Kempton which saved me from having to highlight another day's total in bold red!

+£78.81. A few small wins and no losses meant that I could take my £70+ and go out on the piss with my great mates who I have known since I was 8 or 9 years old.

+£43.68. Was feeling slightly jaded after last night's beerathon so I played quite cautiously and once again avoided any losses but still only made fuck all!

-£3.27. What a dozy cunt I am! I sat here all fucking afternoon nicking a few quid each race and then go and blow it all on the last fucking race of the day! I'm fucking useless!

I'm fucked-off with winning fuck all every fucking day. I've had enough and from now on I'm going to give it fucking large every fucking day. No more pussy footing about. This blog is about to go fucking mental with some fucking huge wins .... so bollox fuck wank tits wank bollox here I come!

I think that from now on before I sit down to trade every day I need to get myself into 'the zone' with a positive mental attitude with a hint of aggressiveness. I've just done a quick bit of research and having an attitude somewhat like this should do the trick I think ...

Laziness Kills Profits!

During August and September I was pretty much on top of my horse notes and every now and then I would get a nice win that came as a direct result of the information that I had compiled. Now for some strange reason it felt as though we were coming to the end of the flat season and I became really lazy on my notes, well to be honest I pretty much stopped watching the replays. It's no co-incidence that I haven't had any decent wins for quite a few weeks!

Now saying that I became lazy is probably not 100% true as I've still been hitting the gym most mornings, I suppose it's just that my time to watch the replays the following morning became limited due to the much earlier start times and it's hard to do your trading and then watch the replays in the evening.

So the flat season rolled-on, albeit at a slower pace, and I was finding that my notes were becoming increasingly out-of-date and therefore not much help. Now I told myself that I would start again on 01/11 but as I type this it's already 06/11 and I still haven't started watching the fucking replays!! So as from tomorrow things are going to change and I'm going to get back into the boring process of watching the replays and hopefully increase my chance of getting that odd biggish win every now and then ...

+£239.61. I've mentioned before that the beauty of updating my blog a few days after the event is that I tend to forget the good winning days. I didn't even realise that I'd won over £200 so it's a nice surprise when you look back a few days and see a nice win ...

-£43.47. The added beauty of the above is that you don't have to dwell on your losses on a day like today. The last race finishes, you realise that you have lost, you sweep it under the carpet and move on. I'll then wait until my next good day and then update my blog again. it's a mental thing but it seems to work.

In fact I remember the race whee I lost over £100 and I think that I had a good entry point but the market just didn't move in my favour ...

-£28.09. Fortunately it's been pretty rare that I have 2 losing days in a row. Once again I started on the back foot by blowing £70+ in an early race and then it was always going to be an uphill struggle trying to get my cash back at Wolves, Kempton and Plumpton. The good thing is that my losses were minimal, but as I've mentioned previously it still gets on my tits and starts to dent my confidence.

-£17.19. Now 3 losing days in a row is starting to take the piss!

It looked as though I was at least going to get a small winning day and then I lost £50+ backing a 1.01 loser @ Kempton!!

+£166.25. Finally a winning day hurrah!

+£122.13 ...... and another one ... double hurrah!

+£121.54. A steady day without a single losing race! They're the kind of days that I like!!

+£101.61. A pretty steady day ...

Hangover = ouch!

+£2.56. I don't think that I had quite recovered from Saturday night's beerfest! I recovered my early loss and then hit the sack!

+£72.11. Another steady midweek day with a few small wins ...

+£97.77. Another day where a few small wins added up to a relatively OK amount ...

-£16.14. Had a fucking hopeless start to the day and felt like giving up! Nicked a few quid back and then quit as I was going out again in the evening for a few beers with some old colleagues.

+£58.42. A pretty unspectacular effort today ...

+£92.01. Almost made it into 3 figures!

+£96.87. It seems that recently my results have been pretty similar in that I'm nicking a few quid here and there and not really going anywhere fast ...

+£54.25. Wolves, Plumpton and Leicester today .... enough said!! ....

+£69.86. More ATR dross today and a mixed bag of results ...

+£159.21. Had another day where a few medium sized wins soon added up to an OK amount bearing in mind we're mid November.

+£119.12. A nice early win in the good old place market pretty much made the day. Other than that it was kind of steady but unremarkable.

+£166.66. It's REALLY FUCKING ANNOYING when you sit here and update a week's worth of posts and then the poxxy wank internet PC fucks up and they all disappear AGGHH!

So in summary a good evening kind of made the day ...

-£181.16. A couple of bad trades where I took big prices and then the market quickly went against me leaving me to scramble about furiously to save anything that I could!

+£35.33. Sunday and one of the tracks was miles behind live on BF video so after yesterday any kind of profit was a bonus ...

+£89.35. Only a handful of trades today but all winners!

Didn't trade today as I spent most of the day driving around sarf London .... see 01/12.

+£43.64. After yesterday's fiasco (see my vid on 01/12 for explanation) sitting here all day for £40 seemed like a good deal!

Well today I fucked off to France with my missus, dad and his partner. We had a fantastic lunch in Wimereux, strolled along the promenade and generally had a great time!

+£234.16. A much better day today with some nice early wins. Looked as though I was heading towards £300+ and then fucked-up late on at Dundalk doh!

+£46.52 It was a pretty dissapointing Saturday today. I'm not too sure why I was crap ... but I was!

+£42.35. I kind of meandered my way through the day today and didn't spot any great opportunities so once again any profit was taken with open arms.
